Day 1 of my Canada Holiday
Hi, Butterflies this is my first blog and I hope it is Inspiring for any readers. This is one of my many adventures. Over the summer I went to Montreal Canada to visit my Grandparents for fun, and to create memories. I had quite a thrilling time there. When we first arrived, it took us quite a while to find their beach house, but we eventually did thank God🙏🏾.Once we were finally there my grandparents met us with hugs and kisses, I had not seen them in 2 years so I really had missed them. My cousin Callister had already arrived I had not seen him in 2 years so it was fun to reconnect. He is 2 years older than me and I was happy to see him too. We were really close during childhood until my uncle had to move away.
After awhile we settled into the beach house and had a bonfire that night. Which was amazing because I had not seen so much of my family in so long so I was really happy! 🙂 We ate smores told funny stories and played some of our favorite games.
One of the games we played was called Tafuta Mkono (The name is in Swahili) In English its called Look For the Hand basically.
The oldest person choses a topic and everyone writes something they like about that topic and then put it in a bin. Now, everyone but the “Host” (Oldest person), close there eyes while the “Host” goes behind someone with the bucket and they pick one.
After they have picked one everyone opens their eyes and tries to guess who has the paper. You only get 3 guesses depending on how many people are playing the game. After they discover who the Paper Holder is, the Paper Holder must read out loud what it says. Then the person who discovered the Paper Holder must guess who could have written what is on the paper.
If they guess wrong they have to give 50 dollars to the Paper Holder but if they guess right the Paper Holder must give 50 dollars to them. Well that’s the game we play every time the entire family meets up, it’s really fun and I know if you butterflies had an opportunity you would love to play. That is it for my first blog of the First day of my trip to Canada talk to you butterflies next time nighty night butterflies!🦋🌙💤
